Frequently asked questions

What is included for free?

Charts, metronome, tuner, your own charts, sharing, and demo backing tracks (Minor Swing, Nuages, Avalon, Confirmation, Invitation). Premium unlocks the full Christiaan van Hemert backing-track library.

How do I restore Premium after reinstalling or switching phones?

Open Settings → Premium and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google Play account you used to buy Premium. Purchases are handled by the app store; we do not receive your payment details.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. Charts, playlists, and settings are stored on your device. Backing tracks you have already played or downloaded are cached for offline playback. New tunes from the catalog need internet the first time.

How does chart sharing work?

You can send a chart or playlist to bandmates via WhatsApp, email, or other apps. Recipients tap the file or link to import — no account needed.

Why does the app ask for the microphone?

Only for the guitar tuner. Audio is processed on your device and is not recorded or uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Background playback / lock screen controls

Enable Settings → Keep playing in background (Android may ask for notification permission). You can then pause from the lock screen or notification shade while practicing.

Transpose and tempo

Open a tune or playlist and use transpose and tempo controls in the player. Playlist settings can differ per tune in the same setlist.

Delete my data

Local data: clear app storage or uninstall. Shared short links: Request data deletion.
